Suggested plan
We will take a walk by some spots to try to find some of the urban birds we find in Lima city:
We will walk by Bicentenario Park, the Miraflores Seafront, El Olivar Park and La Arenilla to find some usual birds we can find in the city: amazillia hummingbird, vermilion flycatcher, saffron finch, longtail mockingbird, scrub blackbird, house wren, blue grey tanager, tropical kingbird, blueblack grassquit, rufous-collared sparrow, plus some seabirds.
Average Total time: 6 to 7 hours including shuttle.
Note: Timing could be adjusted depending season, weather conditions or time spend on each place.
Additionally
If the city is not enough we can add the Villa Wetlands Reserve to find some other birds that live along the coastline. (ask)
Timing suggestions
– We prefer start early in El Olivar, then go to La Arenilla and finish in Miraflores.
What kind of photos we´ll take
Birds.
What lenses are recommended for this trip?
The longest zoom or tele you can get. If you have a smartphone should be one with great zooming capabilities.
90-105 mm minimum for photography enthusiasts.
A monopod is highly recommended for stability, especially in days or hours with low-light conditions.
When is best?
This photo trip can be done for the whole year.
What do I have to bring?
During the summer months (January to April), it’s essential to wear sunscreen and light, breathable clothing. Average temperatures in Lima range from 24°C to 32°C.
In winter (July to October), temperatures typically range from 12°C to 16°C. Long sleeves and a windbreaker are recommended. Although it usually doesn’t rain much—except in August and September—bringing an extra coat for unexpected rain or chilly weather can be helpful.
Important note
This is a photo walk through street areas. We will walk slowly. However, if you have difficulty walking long distances or have a disability, please let us know so we can modify the original plan or consider hiring a driver.

After pre booking by the web form, or contact us by whatsapp, chat or email, please send a list with names, passport numbers, tour date, meeting point and any request you think could be important, as kind of things you want to photograph, personal style, personal website, mobility issues, etc.
We work only with small groups and on private service.

Advices
Always for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff far away from you.
Use of sport or very confortable shoes fully recommended.
