Lima as other places in the coast. before Spanish arrival, had a connection with the Andes, people built roads, then, they become the Inca Trail, and in some places is still in use. This trip goes from coast to the Andes to understand how life continues in this amazing land.
Rains in the Andes end usually in March, so in April we may begin to drive up to the Andes until (with luck) December. On the road we will pass many ecosystems, from the humid coast, to a desert at the bottom of the mountain range, driving by zig zag roads that climbs up to the top of this Andean land with infinite landscapes.
After crossing the high passes the second part is the way down back to the coast by a different way, following the Lurin river valley passing by villages shooting landscapes, people, animals, flowers, birds.
This is the beginning. The trip can get extended, with the experience of sleeping in villages and feel the everyday life of inhabitants of the Andes.
